Counseling

Lisa Wofford is our School Counselor at ATLAS. Her hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:45AM to 3:15PM. You can reach Lisa at extension 2118 or email lisa.wofford@venturausd.org.

The main role of the school counselor is to:

·      develop students’ academic, social-emotional, career skills

·      teach classroom lessons on topics such as bully prevention and kindness

·      provide 1:1, small group, and crisis counseling services

·      collaborate with staff and parents on how to support students at school and at home

·      contribute to the district’s mission of providing a safe and healthy learning environment
